The confrontation between light and dark (far from new)...
Guess what, here's another! The main thing is, the light was right!

The sound track is missing!
Another swift iphone grab. Sometimes the light's just 'there' right in front of you. Trongate, Glasgow as I was walking back for my train home last night.

Kitchen Window Light.
Ever hopeful for good'uns!
Love the light on the edge of the dish.
I rather love the dish which I found for 99p in a local charity shop this afternoon
Oh yes! Has a look of Carltonware, sort of, but not the decoration. Good find!
It says Royal Winton on the back but I can't find anything online that resembles it - most of their stuff was quite floral.
Seven Egrets ... Image quality not great though!
This was taken with Panasonic's 100-300mm zoom, on an E-M1 body with the lenses IS turned off ... I'm tempted to upgrade this to Olly's 75-300mm, as the 100-300mm does seem to deliver rather 'soft' images in lighting conditions such as this. Maybe my technique is rubbish, mainly because I don't often use lenses this long, or I should have also used a Polarising filter?
